Die Strasse war wie immer perfekt. Unterwegs erreichten wir unseren 10.000sten km dieser Reise. Unser Stellplatz war direkt am Ras Madrakah Beach, der einer der sch\u00f6nsten Str\u00e4nde im Oman sein soll. Ist er auch. Menschenleer, sauber, und kilometerlang. Dies meinte auch ein Wassertank-LKW tun zu m\u00fcssen und fuhr sich vor unseren Augen fest. Das war peinlich. Kai, mit seinem 4 x 4 und 9 Tonner hatte ihn dann rausgezogen. Er bedankte sich und verschwand. Kurze Zeit sp\u00e4ter tauchte ein Pick up auf und fuhr vor uns direkt in den tiefen Sand um zu zeigen, was er kann. Ging nicht. Als er ausstieg, war es der Fahrer des LKWs nebst gleichem Beifahrer. D\u00e4mlicher ging es nicht. Er meinte, sich nichts anmerken lassen zu m\u00fcssen und ging mit seinen Kumpels zum Strand und machte demonstrativ Selfies. Wir beobachteten das Schauspiel gen\u00fcsslich weiter. Irgendwann kamen sie dann zur\u00fcck, versuchten wieder aus dem Sand zu kommen und buddelten sich noch tiefer hinein. Dann hie\u00df es Schieben und mit unserer Hilfe befreiten wir ihn zum zweiten Mal aus der misslichen Lage.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3574\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3574\" style=\"width: 283px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/stielau.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/nboodnelfnjbgkab.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3574\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3574 size-full\" title=\"nboodnelfnjbgkab-jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/stielau.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/nboodnelfnjbgkab.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"159\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3574\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dieses war der erste Streich<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3575\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3575\" style=\"width: 283px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/stielau.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/femfkidgfliphekh.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3575\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3575 size-full\" title=\"femfkidgfliphekh-jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/stielau.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/femfkidgfliphekh.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"159\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3575\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Und der zweite folgt sogleich<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Danach hatten wir einen freien Tag und konnten, da der Wind abgenommen hatte, Baden und Relaxen.<\/p>\n<p>Abends gab es wieder Open Air Kino, wir sahen einen Film \u00fcber den S\u00fcdoman, den wir zur Zeit bereisen.<\/p>\n<p>Morgens wurde vom bestellten Wassertankwagen erst einmal Wasser gebunkert.<\/p>\n<p>Dann ging es 260 km nach Sharbathat. Unterwegs machten wir noch einen kurzen Halt bei den Pink Lagoons und dem Sandw\u00e4ldchen von Al Khahil. In den n\u00e4chsten Tagen werden wir das auch landschaftlich sehen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Stellplatz lag wieder an einer super sch\u00f6nen Bucht mit einem Top Strand. Das war eine spektakul\u00e4re Fahrt, die Strasse geh\u00f6rt jetzt zu meinen Top 5. Die Landschaft hat sich merklich ge\u00e4ndert. Es gibt kleine B\u00e4ume und viel Gr\u00fcn. Man merkt, dass es erheblich mehr Wasser gibt. Vor allem von Juni bis August verwandelt sich der S\u00fcdoman in eine gr\u00fcne Oase. Der Khareef, ein monsunartiges Wetterph\u00e4nomen, bringt zwischen Juni und August ergiebige Regenf\u00e4lle. Millionen Touristen aus den anliegenden arabischen L\u00e4ndern und aus dem Nordoman, bev\u00f6lkern dann dieses Gebiet. Die dann vorherrschenden Temperaturen von 30 Grad C sind bek\u00f6mmlicher als die 48 Grad C im Norden.<\/p>\n<p>Wir waren ganz alleine auf dem Parkplatz, und Ute entschied sich f\u00fcr eine Einheit Yoga in der Stille und mit Blick auf das Meer. Kaum hatte sie begonnen, kamen 5 Womos und die Ruhe war vorbei. Zum Beispiel Baobab B\u00e4ume, die wir bisher nur aus Afrika kannten. Neben einem Gro\u00dfen gab es Hunderte kleine Baobabs zu sehen. Das war wieder Abenteuer pur. Den Weg konnte man nicht erkennen. Teilweise gingen wir auf schmalen ausgesetzten Tritten in der Trichterwand entlang. Dieses Gebiet ist auch als Naturreservat f\u00fcr die letzten verbliebenen, wildlebenden arabischen Leoparden eingerichtet. Ich \u00fcberraschte drau\u00dfen eine Wadi Racer, das ist eine 1,2 m lange, zum Gl\u00fcck ungiftige Schlange. Die hatte ich nicht gesehen und war zu schnell auf sie zu gelaufen. Sie b\u00e4umte sich senkrecht auf und suchte dann schnell das Weite. Ab jetzt befinden wir uns im Bereich der legend\u00e4ren Weihrauchstrasse, die \u00fcber 3500 km bis ans Mittelmeer f\u00fchrt. Zun\u00e4chst ging es zu einem traditionellen Tagesmarkt, wo Fleisch, Fisch, Obst und Gem\u00fcse angeboten wurde. Tages entspannt am Meer.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag fand der 2. Teil der Stadtbesichtigung von Salalah statt. Wir fuhren zun\u00e4chst zur Wasserquelle Ayn Sahalnoot in idyllisch sch\u00f6nen Felsformationen. Hier befand sich 300 Jahre vor bis 400 Jahre n.Chr. der bedeutende Weihrauchhafen an der Lagune Rouri.
